A respected and skilled clinician, Dr. Richard Masucci practiced dentistry since graduating from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1959 until his retirement in 2014. Dr. Masucci graduated with honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. After serving in the United States Air Force, he practiced general dentistry in Rochester until 1968. He then entered the post-graduate program in endodontics at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He opened his endodontic practice in Rochester in 1971 and continued to practice endodontics until his retirement in 2014.
Dr. Masucci was always on the cutting edge of endodontics throughout his career. The use of endodontic microscopy has been, and continues to be, standard practice at Rochester Endodontics. Dr. Masucci continued to adapt to the latest advancements in endodontic technology and materials. Having broadened his scope of practice to include teaching, Dr. Masucci instructed at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and as a clinical instructor and Associate Professor at Eastman Dental Center.
Dr. Masucci is a Life Member in the following organizations: The American Dental Association, The New York Dental Association, the Seventh District Dental Society, the Monroe County Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists and the New York State Association of Endodontists. After an extensive search, Dr. Masucci transitioned his practice to Dr. Kyle Saisselin in 2013. After a life spent in the Rochester, NY area, Dr. Masucci relocated south to Suwanee, GA to be close to family.
