Meet Dr. Abigail John
Endodontist in Fairport
Dr. Abigail John is originally from Poulsbo, Washington, a small town in the Pacific Northwest. She moved east to attend Dartmouth College, where she studied Biomedical Engineering and graduated magna cum laude.
Subsequently Dr. John earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, graduating magna cum laude and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. After dental school, Dr. John pursued advanced specialty training in Endodontics at the University of California, Los Angeles.
She is board-eligible through the American Board of Endodontics and an active member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE). Throughout her education and residency, she contributed to research on topics including post placement, antibiotic stewardship, and vital pulp therapy, and has presented her work at national conferences.
Dr. John recently relocated to Rochester with her husband, a physician at the University of Rochester, and together they are excited to join the local community.
