Meet Dr. Dow
Originally from Rochester, NY, Dr. Dow graduated from Villanova University in 2003 and from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2008. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Dow was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the US Navy and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Naval Health Clinic Great Lakes, Illinois, where he was selected as the Resident of the Year. Following tours of duty in Japan and Italy, Dr. Dow was awarded Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Dow then continued his education and earned his MS in Oral Biology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and his Certification in Endodontics from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School, Bethesda, MD in 2016. From 2015-2016, he served as the Chief Resident of the Endodontics Program. Dr. Dow is board certified by the American Board of Endodontics and an active member of the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Dow served as the Endodontics Program Director for the General Practice Residency and Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Programs at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland from 2016 to 2019. He was also on full-time staff at the Endodontics Postgraduate Program at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in 2017, where he also taught clinical and didactic endodontics as an adjunct professor. After 11 years of service, Dr. Dow was honorably discharged as a US Navy Dental Corps Officer in 2019 at the rank of Commander.
